Manage frequently asked question pairs for rapid, deterministic AI retrieval.
While document chunking is ideal for manuals and long-form guides, question-and-answer pairs managed in FAQs (/faqs) provide the fastest, most deterministic answers for common customer questions.
Stored in the faq_items table, FAQs are loaded directly into business context and indexed for full-text search.
Under FAQs (/faqs), click Add FAQ:
- Question: The primary question asked by customers (e.g., *"Do you accept Medicare?"*).
- Answer: The exact response Operator should communicate.
- Category: Domain classification (e.g., *Insurance*, *Parking*, *Hours*).
- Active Toggle: Instantly enable or disable the FAQ without deleting it.
When a customer asks a question:
1. The AI performs keyword and vector similarity against faq_items.
2. Exact question matches take precedence over broad document chunks.
3. The answer is synthesized naturally into the conversation tone while preserving factual fidelity.
